learned to use a molcajete for hand mixing the guacamole and salsa and
a comal to dry roast tomatillos, chilies and garlic.

Back to the casa for Joss and Evelyn's Spanish class with Maria Theresa. We worked on learning
how to pronounce the vowels and practiced our elementary conversational
skills.
Evening time was R & R for the Pods and the New
Yorkers while the kids explored "the Jardin" (the main square) and unexpectedly ran into Alex, a friend of
Joss' from Berkeley.
