Olga fixed us all a delicious Mexican breakfast of fresh fruits, juice and huevos rancheros this morning and then we left to meet Helene in the town square.  She took us on a walking tour of downtown San Miguel de Allende pointing out her favorite restaurants, artisan shops, cathedrals and monuments.

Here's a beautiful view of the whole city...

A local vendor of kid's toys...

Momma and Bowie taking a little rest...

From there we met up with our tour director and cooking teacher Kris Rudolph at the famous restaurant called "Chocolates y Churros San Agustin", owned by a famous soap opera actress named Margarita Gralia.  People come from all over Mexico to eat here in the hopes of catching a glimpse of her.

And just to show you that you can't live on churros alone, here are the other things we ordered...

Tortilla Espanola and Heuvos Chilequiles...

On to the local produce market from here...
