We got a recommendation from someone to try the Summit
Restaurant one night. It's on the 47th floor of a cylindrical
building in the heart of the CBD (Central Business District) and the
views were spectacular! Fortunately the food was also superb!
Here's the building itself - image us at the very top...
and a pod with a perfect window table...
Notice the quality of light in these next images. The outer band
of tables slowly rotated 360 degrees as we sat and dined, so we could
see the whole city spread out below us. It took about 90 minutes
to make the entire revolution, and our timing was perfect, ending just
before twilight really set in...
This pointy building in the foreground of the next picture is neat - you can
just make out the blue neon starting to show as the light fades from
the evening sky. Reminded us of the colorful buildings we saw in Hong
Kong...
OK... enough of the beautiful views...! How about the food? you say...
entree's (which remember is what they call the first course, not the main course)...
salad with goat cheese, golden beets, with red beet drizzle, wrapped in some mystery delicious thing...
