Anytime you have fabulous wineries, you're going to have wonderful restaurants attached to them and we discovered three of them while here in Blenheim.

The first restaurant was part of Montana Vineyards.  We stopped here for a beautiful lunch on our way into Blenheim.

Quiche with salad...

Portobello, carrot and walnut salad...

We had dinner here at Hunter's Vineyard.  This is where Mindy discovered her taste for Miru Miru ~ Marlborough's finest champagne or sparkling wine. That's why we all look so fuzzy.

New Zealand salmon over roasted veeeegies...

Cajun prawns over rice...

Lamb with futzy things we never figured out...

Venison (for the brave) with potato dollops...

A trio of sweet things...

We thought that this was our "Last night in Blenheim Supper with Geoff" at Gibb's Restaurant in the center of a large vineyard and next door to the Moa beer distillery.  (Except, read on to see that the next morning Geoff decided to extend his trip with the Peapods and go on to Nelson with them.)

Another version of New Zealand's famous lamb...

Gurnard fish over polenta with green lipped mussels...

New Zealand's version of Floating Islands...
