When it's Crayfish season in Kaikoura, that's what you have to eat. So we did! Three nights in a row. Crayfish, crayfish, crayfish. Three different restaurants...The White Morph, The Pier and the Green Dolphin. One restaurant had the most tender crayfish, one had the best side potatoes, and the other had the best ambiance and views. We would have liked to put the 3 together and come up with the perfect dinner.
Here's a look at the 3 different "mains" (what we call entreés)...
Night #1..."The White Morph"
Night #2..."The Pier"
Night #3..."The Green Dolphin"
And here are some decorative Crayfish from two of Kaikoura's buildings...
Our Aussie friends Tracy and Mark taught us how to say..."We're dun like a dinner (dinnah) with Crayfish", which means "We're full of crayfish and done with them now."
