Millford Tramp - Day 6

Day 6 - Milford Tramp - Thank Goodness for the Sofitel Hotel...

Here's how we spent day 6 of the tramp:




Sofitel Room Service...5 Stars!!!!




Olive oil braised tuna, salad nicoise, olives, egg, beans, cherry tomato, mustard seed vinaigrette...



Grilled NZ scallops, beetroot marmalade, green tea soba noodles, coriander & tobikko foam...



Brulée of goats cheese, du puy lentils, tomato and white balsamic, red capsicum essence...



Here's a closeup of the tomato garnish...peeled so it wears its own skin like a little hat...




Boxing Day - the day after Christmas Day - is traditionally one for sitting around doing nothing.  We celebrated it really well!

  Can you believe I went swimming in front of your hotel... it was 90 last year.. the water was cold but very clean and nice. I think we ate lunch at the hotel... try upstairs at the oier xxooG
